Abstract

Current guidelines regarding the revascularization of patients with chronic coronary syndromes remains equivocal and while providing a general opinion, many frequently encountered situations in daily practice are still uncovered. Novel studies and trials are aiming to find the determinants of improved outcomes after revascularization and give an insight to the clinicians in decision making.  Despite the controvertial results, it seems that more detailed and precise indications are to be defined in the future.
